I don't know where these were hiding!
They have NO utensil markings with apparent wear.
Production started in 1948 into the 50's.
The Haviland name has been involved in importing china since 1839.
Theodore is one of the Grandson's who made his name in New York buying the rights to the Haviland name after World War II.
They are beautiful!
The pattern features delicate pink roses with a gold trim on white porcelain.
The plates have an intermitant swirl patten along their edge.
These plates measure 6 3/8 inches across.
It is quite popular to use mismatched china today!
If your theme is roses these are the perfect plates.

I find the internet to be the best source for care of specific vintage items. I do not profess to be a pro on cleaning any vintage items! I tend to sell them as found for this very reason.
Unfortunately we do not offer gift wrapping at this time though I am happy to include a personalized note. Stay tuned. It's coming soon!
Our beautiful vintage items come as is! We can customize an amount. I will not break up a set of items offered eg. 4 mugs, but this does not mean I don't have more in stock to offer. *A handling fee will be added into the price on special order single items prepared by request for preparation time and listing fees involved in the process.
We do not sell wholesale but may have more specific items available than offered in the listing. Milk Glass Vases! Corning Ware Glassware & Dishes. Contact me! We will certainly work on price if larger quantities than offered in the listing are being ordered.
