Fostoria American Clear Console Bowl Vintage Large Cubed Bowl Pattern 2056 Rolled Sides Centerpiece Cubist Fruit Bowl RARE Collectible
Measures 12 inches around, 3 inches deep and 4 3/4 at base.
Stunning and in beautiful vintage condition!
it has 3 specks where something , probably glass was settled on it for a while.
Only seen on close inspection.
Fostoria produced this pattern of fine cubed crystal glass pieces from 1915 to 1982
This was the most popular of patterns of all time.
This is a heavy solid Vase!
Some of the pieces between the companies look almost exactly alike.
Fostoria pieces tend to have 3 seams and were re-fired once out of the mold to smooth the surface.
You should not be able to feel any rough spots, unlike Whitehall.
** Console bowls were low flat bowls usually flared or rolled that were used to decorate side tables or low china cabinets, later large radios or stereos housed in beautiful wood cabinets then eventually TVs! They are usually flanked with matching candle sticks.
