This is durable china hence it's nick name; Restaurantware.
Shenango China opened it's doors in 1909 in New Castle PA. It bought out the New Castle China Co. in 1913 and brought it's operations there. A leading manufacturer of china in North America from the 1920's to the 1980's and finally closed it's doors in 1991. The china was made between 1902 and 1961
this particular "Buffed" Color was one of their most popular and used in a large percent of restaurants because of it's durability.

Unfortunately we do not offer gift wrapping at this time though I am happy to include a personalized note. Stay tuned. It's coming soon!

Our beautiful vintage items come as is! We can customize an amount. I will not break up a set of items offered eg. 4 mugs, but this does not mean I don't have more in stock to offer. *A handling fee will be added into the price on special order single items prepared by request for preparation time and listing fees involved in the process.
